Logan shared with MTV prior to the awards that Percy should win that category. He shared, “That was about a month of filming just to do that one sequence. We learned so much. We had to learn how to fly, be in wires and make it look good. Go down rooftops while having to swing at invisible lightning bolts being shot at you. It was a pretty crazy experience and I was completely blown away when I saw it onscreen. I’m so glad it got nominated — and pray that it wins!”

The 18-year-old actor will join Christoph Waltz and Milla Jovovich in Paul W.S. Anderson’s version of The Three Musketeers, Variety reports.

Logan will play rookie Musketeer D’Artagnan, who joins forces with three veteran musketeers — Athos, Porthos (Ray Stevenson) and Aramis (Luke Evans) — to battle the evil Cardinal Richelieu (Waltz).

With Doug Liman on board to direct, the film is set for a fall production start.

The 18-year-old Percy Jackson star shared, “My dream girl is Rachel McAdams. I saw her in a restaurant once and it was the first time I’ve actually frozen up around a girl. I couldn’t even look in the direction of where she was sitting! I’m a huge fan of hers.”

The 18-year-old actor caught up with Blackbook magazine to chat about the film, the constant comparison to Harry Potter and his future studies at NYU. Check it:

On wanting to take classes at NYU: “Yes, I did [apply]. [I’d love to study] creative writing. My real passion is filmmaking. I want to be a filmmaker one day and be involved in writing and directing.”

On Harry versus Percy: “I think a lot of people are saying that mainly because Chris Columbus’ name is attached to both films and we are selling it as: ‘from the director of Harry Potter.’ However, they’re different movies. Do we want it to be as successful and as loved the Harry Potter films? Of course, but they’re pretty different stories. This movie is transferring Greek mythology into the modern day. It’s paralleling classic myths and introducing a new demi-god into the modern day world.”

On the script being his Bible: “I read the book right after I read the script. The first thing that really attracted me to being a part of this film was seeing Chris Columbus’ name right on the title page of the script. I read the script and loved it. Then, I read the book. It was a really backward process. For him, his motive the whole time is to get his mom back. Save the world above anything, but get his mom back. I don’t think Percy felt any pressure [from his father, Poseidon].”

“I don’t even know her,” Logan piped in.

“Well, I know her and I think you should as her out.”

“What about us? Now I have to find her now, but only because you told me to.” Logan joked.

Logan also joked with MTV about one particular scene during the movie: The Lotus Casino. He shared about not dancing, “I was going to, or they wanted me to, and I was like, ‘Man, you don’t want me to dance! I have no moves for this.’”
